I'm Ava Yazdani, an aspiring Product (UX/UI) Designer based in Vancouver, BC. I am passionate about building products that are useful and enjoyable for people.

I view design as a means of understanding how to solve real world problems, and I believe the strongest solutions appeal to our most rational and emotional selves. UX design represents a melting pot of my core tenets: creativity, empathy, technology and impact. I formerly worked in technology sales, servicing the public & financial sector, and prior to that in technology public policy lobbying for a better digital agenda in Europe.

I'm a product of McGill University (Major: Information Systems), and work has taken me across Europe, the Middle East, the US & Canada. You can find me trekking the great Canadian outdoors or indulging in cultural escapades in my free time.
